With 125 full members, PZ Vrbnik prides itself on modern products that are made in the fertile Vrbnik fields. Mediterranean climate, dry summers and rainy autumns are responsible for the development of white žlahtina and other indigenous varieties of the Croatian Littoral.

High quality dry white wine with a designation of origin (ZOI)

Harvesting is done completely by hand
Crushing and pressing is carried out by mechanical presses
Vinification in stainless steel tanks (cold fermentation)

Traditional product of PZ Vrbnik
The overripe grapes of žlahtina and concentrated must after a long-lasting fermentation in oak barrels and multi-year ageing produce a sweet wine
Gastronomic recommendation: traditional Vrbnik cakes presnec and povitica, as an aperitif and digestive
Red wine Namori
Blend of autochtonous varieties: brajdica, sansigot, kamenina, debejan
Light and smooth red wine with high acidity
Not too excessive colour intensity, aromatic, dominant fragrances of forest fruit
Gastronomic recommendation: local lamb, red meat, lamb stew


Sparkling wine Valomet
Traditional method of fermentation in bottles
Base wine is žlahtina
Fermentation at 12 degrees Celsius
Ageing in bottles 1 to 2 years
Sparkling wine Valomet contains varietal character of the base wine with a slight dominance of the fragrant components created by ageing on its lees
Gastronomic recommendation: oysters, seafood, aperitif, also excellent as a standalone because it is light, smooth and mildly acidic

After processing and bottling in the cellars of PZ Vrbnik, the sparkling wine is submerged in the sea at a depth of 32 metres, where at a constant temperature, in darkness and silence, it ferments and ages in a secret location of the north-eastern part of the island of Krk
